I am currently employed full-time as an addictions therapist at an outpatient psychiatric private clinic.  I am also very active in my church with women's ministry, mission work, and Bible study.  I was born in
Sheridan County Nebraska, as an Army wife I have lived in South Dakota, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, California, and now Alabama.  My husband retired in 1990 and is now my house husband.  I am an avid knitter and crocheter and most of my projects are for various missions including Project Linus and orphanages.  I am also an avid reader mostly of contemporary christian nonfiction but also the nonfiction works of Debbie Macomber.  I also write articles of Examiner.com and currently have four regular blogs: My Creative Yarns; Becoming the Woman God Wants You To Be; My Journal (writing assignments from the book the daily writer by Fred White); and Just Ramblings which is my vent blog.
